Cabal is my word for a way of working together. It is an wholistic space for collaboration with each other and the life streams we are part of. The Cabal ethos rests in the subtle arts of relatedness. For over 20 years, this philosophy has guided my approach to art, design and construction, within very diverse project teams, contexts and mediums.

This ‘deep collaboration’ is an art form of communication and interdependency as we sculpt, weave, design and construct processes for restorative built environments. I treat each creative project is an opportunity to explore with others, finding simple practical tools and processes that we can put into action to help realise our ideals for transformation and regeneration in our communities. Cabal is a call to the nourishment of love, life and the restoring of beauty.

The International Transpersonal Association wanted to transform the business like hotel into a transpersonal village. Caroline, and the team of 20 volunteers she supervised, created both visually and emotionally the village atmosphere we had hoped for. There was an overwhelming response by the participants on how important the village design was for their experience.

In addition to her talent as an artist and designer, Caroline was also very organised in both her coordination of the many volunteers as well as with the financial handling and reporting of the design budget. She is amazing in her ability to be skillful in both the creative and organising aspects of her work.

The 'Transpersonal Village'  was co-created with a diverse group of volunteers, including a Catholic nun. Working on very low budget, we set about uplifting the atmosphere of the gathering through assembling found objects and sculptures at entrances and key meeting spaces, to generate a trail of surprise encounters through out the convention centre.  We tended and changed the installation as the conference progressed, to keep the concept of the 'transpersonal village' warmed and alive.
